Discovery House
will develop unprecedented Industry leading automation in vertical horticultural, aquaculture and agricultural product processing that will achieve energy efficiency, cost effectiveness, environmental responsibility and production levels previously unattainable.
As global temperatures rise, snowfall and accumulation will likely be reduced and replaced with increased rainfall and accompanying cloud cover. The combination of these effects over the next 30 to 50 years could have very serious implications for agricultural opportunities in Canada.
This project will develop viable multi use agriculture integrated structures to improve food-crop production in locations previously seen as undesirable for commercial agriculture, and which may become even more challenging as a consequence of climate change.

The Discovery House Prototype
will produce a viable low light cold climate production facility in a high-function, fully automated structure heated and cooled with an advanced thermal storage and harvesting system in low light cold climate conditions, and with fully integrated automated supplemental lighting and nutrient systems.
An advanced AI will be used to assets in the extensive automation of the facility. Actively collecting data that will monitor and asses crop quality, quantity, days to harvest and planting dates creating an active and idyllic work plane for farming, food processing and facility/energy management.
An overall cost-effective deployment stratagem will be created to further advance the immediate construction of the finished discovery house facility in communities across the mid northern development corridor.
The Discovery House Prototype will increase the availability and security of agricultural products for up to 8 percent of Canadas population.
No other single project holds such potential.
